When we get our ATAR does it tell us what we got for each exam?

Yeah it does if yuo look at the study score grades. It will have GA1, 2 and 3.
one of them are for sacs and the other is exams.
Im not sure which is which for certain subjects tho.

yeah but you only get your grade, not you mark out of 80 or whatever.

If you're really desperate to know, there is a way but you'll have to wait until next year.  There's something that VCAA releases called "Graded Distributions" and it will tell you the range of marks you needed for each graded assessment to get a certain grade, eg. 178-180 to get an A+.   It will also tell you how many student did the subject, broken up into male and female as well as how many students got a certain grade.

Depends on the subject.

For English GA1 = U3 SACs, GA2 = U4 SACs and GA3 = Exam

Look at the grade distributions from previous years (on the VCAA website) to see which GA is which.
