Hi,
So take two hypothetical students at a university. Student X gets 95 for all subjects in their degree, they as get a HD grade for every subject. Does this mean that X has a GPA of 4/4 or 7/7? Student Y gets 85 for all of their subjects, and also HD grades for all subjects. Does this mean they also have the same GPA as X?

Thanks

Russ

Entirely depends on the GPA scales you're using.
Since you're interested in medicine, the only scale used is the 7 point one and all marks above 80 (from Go8 universities) are considered equivalent to a 7. So both those students would have a 7.0 GPA for med applications

Indeed this is what they tell us to compute as a 'guide' to our GPA, but no one knows for sure how they actually calculate them. I suspect your actual GPAs may be different.
