SCHOLARSHIPS

Sorry I'm a bit lost about how this whole scholarship thing works..
I got an email from Monash about applying for scholarships and how you have to fill out an application form and give supporting documentation *sigh* but I thought we already did the whole scholarship application thing with vtac a few months ago?
I'm looking toward a merit scholarship, so would I have to fill in these application forms, or they just offer whatever according to my ATAR??

Thanks in advance!  ;D

I think that's maybe if you never considered scholarships before because you didn't think you were good enough and then you actually get a really good ATAR that you can apply again? But if you've already applied you shouldn't have to apply again :)

I'm a bit lost too because I got a text and a call before offering one of the scholarships but it wasn't for my first preference and according to
http://www.adm.monash.edu.au/scholarships/scholarshipoffers.html
the scholarship for my course is "IN PROGRESS", like the one I was offered.
So does that mean if i haven't already gotten an offer for the one for my course, that I probably won't get it? :S Or do some faculties take longer than others to notify eligible people?
