I remember seeing a thread like this every year around this time. And it is always full of gratitude, complacency and the great achievements you kids have got. This is the reason why I stick around, and this will also be the reason why many of you will also stay.

Speaking on behalf of the older crowd, thanks to all you younger guys for making the year worthwhile. As always, there were ups and downs, but we've seen a very vibrant, cohesive, and above all else, helpful community on the whole. And really it's for this that losers such as myself still stick around.
Oh wow, you are part of the older crowd now, how time moves fast.
(unrelated, but I don't think it's an understatement to say every year, AN is producing some of the most important people of the next generation.)
