MD. vs MBBS

So by tomorrow I have had to decide whether I am going to take a guaranteed spot in Melbourne's seven-year post-graduate MD, or Monash's five-year undergraduate MBBS. The Melbourne MD is guaranteed if i choose to take biomed first, and money isnt an issue in this debate

Just a few quick questions:

1) supposedly the Melbourne MD is misleading in that it is exactly like Monash' MBBS, but it is a doctorate.. is it any better or worth getting?
2) does medschool prestige have any impact on my employability / likelihood of getting into a specialising college down the track?
3) Which would you pick and why?

Biomed will allow you to pursue a few of your interests before you get into the MD course
But in total, it will be 1 year longer
At Monash, I think it's something like 5 years plus 1 year in research
Melbourne is the more 'prestigious' uni
Shouldn't make a difference in terms of employability, though

Just consider the location aspect of it as well, and perhaps even which uni your friends are going to if you want to keep a closer connection
