Hey everyone.
Just need some advice on how to order my first few preferences. At this stage Banking and Finance/Law at Monash seems likely to be my number 1. If I later want to transfer to Commerce/Law, would I have to undertake a maths unit to compensate for not doing Maths methods in year 12? Any comments on the Banking and Finance degree at Monash in general?
At this stage either Law/Finance at La Trove or Law/Commerce at Deakin seem to be the likely 2nd and 3rd preferences, although I'm not entirely sure in what order. The commerce degree probably broadens my horizons later in terms of jobs and also gives me a taste of all the different areas I may like within commerce. At La Trobe, you have a range of degrees that combine with Law, such as Accounting, Business, etc. Can anyone give me a bit of an insight into all the commerce related degrees at La Trobe. They seem to all be split into their own degree. However, I have found out that La Trobe can be quite flexible in terms of transferring, yet it would ultimately be better if I made the right choice straight up.
Also, in terms of preferences, does the order really matter further down the list? My score is more than adequate to get into all the courses above, except just below the clearly-in for Banking and Finance/Law at Monash.
Any further advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
