I think it does since VTAC publishes all the data of everyone who got accepted into each particular course.

But it doesn't affect the conditions of Access Melbourne entry right? It still stands at 78, disadvantaged financial background/rural/ 25 in english, science and maths? So it should still be the same right? So I should be all good..

Yeah, I'm in overdrive now.
Science, Melbourne University.

Holy moly!  And I thought my year, 2010 applicants, would have set the record at 89.05.  Who could have guessed?

My first thought as well! I thought after it went back down for 2011 applicants, that 89.05 is the highest it was going to gone (at least for a few years).

Latest news: BSc cutoff has risen to 90.15!!

Quote
Science had the biggest increase, making 80 more offers than last year and recording a 5-point rise in the ATAR (from 85.05 to 90.15).

That's pretty high, thoughts?
Woah, that's crazy (srs).

Looks the 2012 kids that are wanting to do science next year at melbourne means that they would have to work a lot harder, and plus they need some luck to push them through over 90.15 ATAR.
