You probably have your points already...I hope...
But I think 'Australia should not EXPORT uranium to India' is linguistically stronger than saying import, good luck with the oral and remember to have a strong and commanding voice during the presentation of your piece.

Sorry

For:
-Stronger ties with one of the worlds fastest growing economies. Thus leading to an increase in trade and a larger influence within the context of global economies.
-Profit.
-Helps a third world country with their needs, hence inadvertadly helping to alleviate poverty and reduce gender gaps.

Against:
-The chance that India will use the uranium enrichment to make weaponry or sell off to war-torn Pakistan, which means Australia will have directly financed conflict for its own self -interest.
-Australia will have little control over what India uses or how they manage the uranium.
-Australia being looked down upon on the World stage.

They're off the top of my head, and are only suggestions.. Obviously you'll need to elaborate on these and back them up with stats and public figure opinions..

Against:

- That India are non-signatories to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty

- The governmental problem that selling Uranium to India opposes several treaties and commitments.

 - India’s governmental instability and their inability to effectively deal with nuclear power generation and proliferation

 - Fuelling and supplying munitions for the war between India and Pakistan.
