Wait until you get to uni, and end up having an exam on Melbourne Cup Day.
Apparently Melb. Cup isn't a holiday at Monash Uni? :S LOL!
In response to the complaints on the exam timetable. My opinion is that there's nothing you can do about it. Just get over it and start studying rather than complaining. In the end, there's always going to be someone who's in a worse situation than you and although I didn't have 2 exams on the same day at all during my exam period, I can say, even having 2 would not really hamper my performance in the exam. If you think that endurance is an issue, you can work on your mental fitness as well as techniques to help you recover after an exam.
There's really nothing worse than thinking negatively about things which are out of your control. I know a lot of people who spent a lot of time which I spent relaxing, on facebook and enjoying myself, complaining about how they were marked unfairly on SACs, how this is against them, how that is against them, how they have an exam straight after an exam and they seem to wonder why they never have any free time.
Just use your time wisely, don't bother even thinking about the exam timetable, it's not even that bad. You're not going to change anything by putting your time and effort into petitioning VCAA. Look at the things you can control, such as your mental stamina and recovery after exams, and try to address issues that you can fix, no point chasing after VCAA, waste of time and effort.
