is this graph linear or some sort of parabola?

at first i thouhgt it was linear but the residual plot resembled a bell curve, and since there is a clear pattern that means that the original graph (the one in the url) is not linear, but it still looks like a linear line to me  :-\

whats do you guyz think??

I think if the residual plot has a clear pattern (despite a linear looking graph) you have to declare it as non linear.

From last year I definitely remember clear pattern in the residual plot = must do a transformation. I think some exercises purposely have linear looking graphs just to confuse students.
