gravimetric, volumetric and colorimetry help please

i am required to write a detailed conclusion that summarises the suitability of different techniques and instruments in chemical analysis particularly gravimetric analysis, volumetric analysis and colorimetry.

i have got no idea why these techniques are suitable hope you guys can help me out here
