how can i understand resonance in nmr

im not really understanding what resonance means , i do have good notes that explain it like tsfx and other notes, but i just cant  my head around it, can some please explain it in an easy way

try http://www.chemguide.co.uk - i took ages to understand NMR, then took one read of this and understood it the first time.

go to http://www.chemguide.co.uk then go to Instrumental Analysis then go to NMR then read the background pages.
