Encountering conflict (rugmaker) HELP!?

So, my prompt is 'conflict is essential for real growth' I'm doing an expository, I'm fine with my introduction and my paragraph on the rugmaker but I'm not sure what else I /need/ to link it to. I think my 2nd paragraph will be about this girl who was abducted and how she grew as a person through that conflict but I'm stuck on my 3rd paragraph.
Do I need to look at both sides of the prompt? Are there some good examples you guys know that I could link to my prompt...? :(
