What is the best way to study maths... Usally it's just do more questions but sometimes you wonder if your doing the right types of questions so does anyone have any good techniques for studying maths ??

dont waste time doing very similar questions that u find very easy to do, always look for more challenging questions. past exam papers arent a bad thing to try if u feel confident enough.

Indeed, it's always good to know how to derive 'formulas' and other information, in case you forget.
Also, challenging yourself with harder questions definitely tests your understanding

deviations of some theorems are important where as some are certainly not, memorisation of theorems are important but should be done if one knows how to apply it and is confident about HOW it works. Deviations of theorems are important if they provide you with a better understanding of HOW it works.

eg, proving the prime factor factorisation or the fundamental theorem of algebra etc are quite important as they will tell u much more about how things work.
