Yes, but if we celebrate now it acts like positive reinforcement, therefore we are more likely to repeat the desired behaviour (aka study for hours on end).

Scream around madly around the house.  :D I did that when I got my ATAR score last year (not as good as the med kids, I tell you, but it was good enough.)
