Unit Four and Chromosome mutations

Hey everyone, not sure how my school is going with the bio unit 4 timeline, but we've just finished learning about Nondisjunction and chromosome mutations. Just wondering if we need to know about these topics in depth. As in, do we need to know about trisomy, monosomy, deletion, translocation etc etc?

Thanks everyone

... thanks for that, just wondering, what would the diploid number of chromosomes in a trisomy and monosomy cell be? :/

47 for trisomy; 45 for monosomy
