Take a look at http://www.theage.com.au/national/letters/water-companies-are-the-winners-20100105-ls8b.html

It's about halfway down, called "A double standard". Interesting topic :)

Alot of the students from India are simply here to get Permanant Residency status. Not to learn. There are many 'dodgy' institutions across Australia which act as 'Visa Factories' according to an article published in Yesterdays Age. I think that this means that many of the Indians attending these 'dodgy' instituitions are probably people who didnt do well in India or at school. hence they're only here as a last resort.

I disagree i think you may be looking at a minority of Indian's, from my own experience i believe that indian's contribute to society more than the average Australian i mean who else wants to be a call centre worker or a cabby on such a low wage. My point is that they are very grateful for the opportunities that we are offered everyday, so why shouldnt they experience a land of abundant opportunities as we have been given just because they were born in a different country. What about equality, who are we to decide who should share our opportunities and who shouldnt?

Just sayin...
