How to practise Economics?

Hi guys, how should one practise for Economics? We use the textbook Economics Fundamentals by Romeo Salla. I've been doing summary throughout the year but to consolidate my knowledge, what should I do? Do some questions from the book? Do checkpoints? Which checkpoints, etc., are good for Eco? Also, since the study design is fairly new, would it be alright to do VCAA exams from previous study designs anyway? Sorry for all the questions :P and thanks for any advice!

I'd redo some questions from the book and heaps of practice exams.
Try and find blank copies of all the SACs you've done so far and redo them too.

How many AS government policies do we need to know for the exam? Like do we have to know all the competition, environmental, population, etc, etc, etc policies?

I'm a current student so I don't know how helpful I can be, but I think it would be good to know the really big ones in great detail (carbon tax package, MRRT, your respective MRP, etc.) and then another 1 or 2 policies per government goal, each from different budgets.

You need to know all the AS policies listed in the study design.
The only policies you can skip are the three microeconomic reform policies that your school is not covering.

What's a specific environmental policy that has been implemented in the last 4 years (excluding Carbon Tax)? What's a specific immigration policy that has been implemented in the last 4 years (2008-2012)? Thank you!
