VCAA 2011 Query

Would this answer be ok for the 2011 VCAA Question 5a)i) of Section B?
Since initially only NO is present in the sealed container, so while the system is reaching equilibrium, [N2] and [O2] would increase from zero until their equilibrium concentrations are reached. Thus the rate of the reaction 2NO (g) -> N2 (g) + O2 (g) is greater than that of N2 (g) + O2 (g) -> 2NO (g).

Thanks
