How does each weigh up in the exam score?
2011 : Electrotechnology 40

2012 Aim : English 35, Methods 40+, Chemistry 40, Physics 45+, Specialist 30, Punjabi 35+

Atar Aim : 90+

Almost half of your marks in language analysis comes from expression. This means good spelling, synonyms, and fluency should be used to demonstrate you understand the nuts and bolts of how to write.
However, in text-response and context, expression is marked but to a lesser extent. Deep exploration of themes is where the marks are at. Study hard my dude.

It's more about writing in coherent, expressive prose than trying to sound fanciful or anything. If you can do that, you won't lose any marks for that section of the criteria and it's all about depth of analysis.
