help with context 'whose reality?' prompt

Hi Everyone  :)
I am currently doing a practice essay forthe prompt: ‘Our own reality is the only one that matters’.
I am a little unsure of how to tackle this prompt, even though it does not ask the question 'do you agree' i was thinking of going against it and saying that our own reality does matter to some extent but other people's realities help to shape our own reality. Would I be wrong to go about it this way?

My usual way of 'attacking' prompts is to interpret key words, define reality, and then bring in ideas from outside world and from my focus text but I don't know if I am overthinking the prompt but I truly can't think of anything other than mentioned above.

Thankyou, hope someone can be of assistance!

Probably best to have a general look at the prompt, from both angles

so first off start with an example from real world/text where 'our own reality IS the only one that matters'
and then move to a discussion of how it is not - why? consequences of this? how to overcome those?

If the prompt is open-ended like this one, try and work out a question from the same words
ie 'Is our own reality the only one that matters?' or 'To what extent is our reality the only one that matters?'
and then look to answer that question.
