I just did my first Medentry practice exam (1).
I was wondering what approximate scores i would be getting in the actual UMAT exam
Here are my scores:
Section 1 32/48 71 percentile
Section 2 34/44 79 percentile
Section 3 22/42 81 percentile- I found that a little weird.
Anyways, what do you guys think? below, average, or above the norm?
Thanks
Because It was exam one and most people haven't had enough practice yet, it explains why a 22/42 in section 3 gave a 81 percentile..at the beginning section 3 is probably the hardest (i found this to be true) but once you practice it, it's fairly easy.
Also, your percentiles are likely to change over time because probably not everyone doing the course has finished that exam yet..
Usually, towards the final exams the percentiles are really important because this is generally when everyone has had sufficient practice and so it would reflect in the scores...
I hope you understand what I mean.
With regards to the percentiles in the actual umat, it would generally be higher because there may be many students sitting the umat without sufficient practice whereas in the percentiles for medentry it gives you your percentile that puts you in ranking with only those who have the medentry course..
So in my opinion, if your percentiles are good enough in medentry then it is likely that you would get a good percentile in the real umat too...
This is from what I just think... Hopefully others can also help by explaining their experiences!
