So on VCAA exams, there is often space left underneath questions. If I run out of lines, am I allowed to write in the space or do I have to go to the extra writing space?

There's the picture of the empty space I'm talking about in case you're confused :P

Thanks guys! (:

Yes you can write on the empty space.  Just to make sure that for some exams, they put a frame around the questions and it says you are NOT allowed to write on there.  Other than that, you can write any empty spaces they provide.

Yep, I was worried about this for one of my mid-years as I didn't see the extra space at the end until I finished the paper, but I got the marks even though I went under the lines.

hmmm i always thought it was okay, but our teacher for englang told us that for short answers, they dont read anything past the lines.. and he's an assessor. :O
but i havent heard that for any other subject, and i definitely went over the lines for methods and physics and chem and it was fine !
