War on junk/spam posts.

For far too long now there has been a serious amount of spam infecting the VN boards. Off topic posts that contribute nothing, MSN conversations that completely derail threads. The members who do this know they are and some have been warned.

Effective immediately, the following policy changes are being enacted.

Off-topic/junk posts will be deleted by moderators on sight. Repeat junk/spam offenders will be officially warned by a global moderator. If the user continues to post useless and off-topic posts in threads, punitive action in the form of temporary removal of posting privileges will take effect. If spammers simply refuse to stop spamming and posting junk, posting privileges will be removed indefinitely.

The quality of VN is going down rapidly. It's sad, because I know a lot of members contribute a lot of quality material, but the few bad eggs are the loudest and post their crap in large volumes. Well, I've had enough and the moderation team has had enough. It ends now.

Addendum: Any posts in Sweet Nothings are exempt from this policy. In that board, you can spam alllll you like.

Bump.

In light of a recent sudden increase in spam, uncontrolled retardisation (inc lulz and epic), taking jokes too far and off-topic posts, [the main offenders know who they are], I feel compelled to bring this back to attention.

If you want to spam, fine, go to sweet nothings, but keep the silliness in there.

Consider yourself warned if your posts have been deleted. Repeated action will result in punitive actions as per first post.

Good day, kind sirs.

Also, defamatory remarks are not tolerated [subtle or not], refer back to code of conduct.
