Can we highlight words in our dictionaries? I am pretty sure writing in them is not allowed but is highlighting?

Read the VCAA Exam Navigator. It states the word on pretty much all the small details like this http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Documents/vceexamnav12.pdf

Page 6 - under dictionaries

• Dictionaries must not contain any highlighting, annotation or tabs not part of the original publication.
