Exam - am I allowed to?
« on: November 11, 2012, 11:49:16 pm »
Hey. Say I was working through a question (short answer section), and I encounter a problem that I can't do, so I move on to the next one, i.e. from part i to part ii. And it turns out this next one is linked to the one I couldn't do, but I know how to solve it.

It seems a bit dumb to lose a bunch of marks because I failed to do the first in the series, so what if I supposed a random answer and used _that_ to answer the 2nd question?

Am I allowed to do this?

Hm, good question, if that does happen just write something indicating that's what you did, they can probably give you something for the method

If you need the answer from the question from before and just write down an answer for the part before like
And then use it, don't just write a for the answer, write something unique so  that they can clearly see that you used the answer from before.
