I am in a state of shock about my results - 47 in Health and 48 in Psych is crazy seeing as I was estimating under 43 for both. If these are inaccurate when I get my text it'll be awful.

God dammit, why did I tick the privacy box! T_T

Stick - my daughter ticked the privacy box too but her scores have been published. She is in tears and extremely upset :(

Any idea whom to complain to?

Thanks. She is in year 11 and got a 50 and a 46. I need to convince her they're excellent scores. Sigh.

Tell her to eat some cement and harden up.  Those scores are incredible and put her in the top 0.5% of everyone doing VCE in her year.  Get off this website and instill some confidence and remind her of her achievements.  As i said, they are incredible.

Those scores are beyond exceptional and put her well in the very very top of VCE students - make sure she knows that  :)

Thanks Tragesty. I know how incredible these scores are. The 46 scales to over 48.
She still has Specialist, French, Eng, Phy and UMEP next year and she is good at all of them - esp. Eng, Spesh and French.

I've been drilling into her that she has to stop being so hard on her self. She is otherwise a very happy kid and has a very wide range of interests outside of academics :)

Get off this website and instill some confidence and remind her of her achievements.  As i said, they are incredible.
No problem with her confidence. The problem is the standards she sets for herself and being a perfectionist.

You don't need to get 6 50's to get a 99.95, and thats what most people look at anyway, the ATAR not the SS :)

Just called VCAA, looks like her school may have goofed up. She has clearly indicated that she does not want her results published. Waiting for the school to call  back.

She's calmed down now......all the upheaval over the last couple of years of moving to a new country, house, new educational system, new environment etc. adds to her stress :)

PS: Will also make sure she joins this wonderful forum!

Looks like the Herald Sun has officially apologised for prematurely releasing the scores at 12AM, and it has been removed when education authorities alerted the Herald Sun, thus not due to large amounts of traffic.
