If I wanted to fulfil the pre-requisities for Chemical Engineering, from a different course like Bachelor of Biomedicine.
2011: Methods [40]  Chemistry [34]
2012: Global Politics [44] Specialist Maths [33] Physics [35] English [38]
ATAR: 97.10

2013-2015: Bachelor of Biomedicine (Neuroscience)  UoM
2017-2020: Doctor of Optometry UoM

You cant major in Chem Eng from Biomed so it's a moot point. Regardless, Chemistry 1 runs in semester 1 and 2, while Chemistrh 2 runs in semester 2 and summer. You can't complete chem 2 without already finishing chem 1.

Can " Chemistry for Biomedicine"  be considered as a Chemistry subject equivalent to Chemistry 1

Since Chem for Biomed is sort of a chopped up Chem 1 and 2 with missing topics, I'd say not. There is no where in the handbook that says the cannot be credited together, so I'd say they are not equivalent.

Probably best to email a chemistry lecturer on the matter. If you are set on Chem Eng with med prefers (why else would you do Biomed) it's possible but you will have a watered down Chemical Engineering curriculum.
