Biomedicine Prerequisites

Hi,

I am slightly confused with the prerequisite for Accelerated Mathematics 1 and 2. I am a non-VCE student, but I have done Maths B and C in QLD, achieving an A. I heard that I have to apply for a Waiver Request, but I'd rather avoid it if I already met the prerequisites.

The prerequisite for Accelerated Mathematics 1 states that Accelerated Mathematics 2 is required, but for AM 2, it says that AM 1 is required. I am confused over this as how is it possible to do the 2 before the 1? Or do they just mean that when selecting subjects, we have to choose the two of them in a set?

If this is the case, and I choose the two of them, do I still have to submit a General Requisite Waiver Request?

Thanks!
