Hi
I recently got this calculator and every time I go to calculate something it doesn't calculate the answer.
For example if I type 5/4 is just says 5/4 as the answer and it doesn't say it as a decimal, or sin^-1(45/60) it just simplifies it to sin^-1(3/4) yet again not giving me the angle, Can someone please help?

press ctrl+ enter, this will give you the answer to a certain number of decimal places

If it was similar to my old CAS, instead of typing '5/4' and pressing Enter, you should press '5/4' then Ctrl + Enter it to get the Decimal Answer. Just be wary though that if you are using it in Methods CAS, answers must always be exact unless stated otherwise

Ctrl+Enter can sometimes lead people wrong, if you forget to apply it the first time. I.e. you enter, then ctrl enter, as in this case it will take the previous answer and apply the same operation to it and then converts it to decimal. E.g. below an accidental misuse of ctrl+enter

Using 'Convert to decimal' is what I sometimes used, that is [Menu] [2] [1].

It's just that others I know who entered, then ctrl+entered lost marks in sacs due to this small mistake. Which is why I always stuck with [Menu] [2] [1]. But as long as you do it properly the first time, then ctrl+enter shouldn't go wrong, just look at what you're actually evalutating :P
