what has happened to pokemon?! :'(

so, i decided to watch one of the newer pokemon episodes today (out of extreme boredom) and realised that the great international phenomenon has disintegrated into a hybrid cartoon version of digimon and neopets. Not only this, but all the original voice actors have been replaced with lower grade professionals who don't quite fit the part, and team rocket no longer blast off and pull classy one-liners! what has happened?!

After not watching pokemon for well over 5 years, i hadnt the slightest clue it has regressed so much... disappointed
