Class of 2013: What English texts and Contexts are you studying?

I'm doing "Whose Reality" and we're doing Death of a Salesman and Spies.

I'm not sure which is which, but the booklist for Chisholm TAFE in Frankston is:

The Rugmaker of Mazar-e-sharif
A Christmas Carol

I'm pretty happy with this booklist, especially The Rugmaker of Mazar-e-sharif, which contains a lot of insight into what life is like in Afghanistan.

Is there another text response text that you forgot to mention? The study design states "Across the Units 3 and 4 sequence, English students must read and study at least four selected texts" I'm not sure if the fourth one has to be a text response one, but most schools do two of those.

I hardly even know the difference between text response and context... it's been a while since I last did English, but I'm hoping I can learn how all the SACs and the exam work in the next few weeks.

That's odd... the booklist only mentioned those 3 things. In literature last year, I only had to study 3 things, only 2 of which I used on the exam. It seems bizarre that they would give you more to study in English than in literature.
