Animation Programs

Hello
For my Unit 4 were you have to make a short film, im deciding to do a Animation Short film but i dont know what program  or what programs are available to use, I do have pivot but thats really basic... i was hoping to do something like the youtube Starcraft Animation videos.

Flash would be good. The onion skin feature is similar to how you could see the previous frame(s) on Pivot.

Blender is very useful. Heaps of tutorials are available as well :)
Edit: I thought you were doing a 3d animation. Otherwise, flash is the best

Edit: I thought you were doing a 3d animation. Otherwise, flash is the best

Blender is awesome if you know how to use it well. It does take up a lot of time learning how to model properly, so if you're prepared to give it the time, then I'd by all means recommend it

I'd say Pivot too, it's easy, fun and effective

Yeah true Markkieee, but with pivot most of the time you only get 1 camera angle but with Blender you have unlimited :D plus iv already started to make my zombie guide animation video.

Could use stop motion which gives a different effect to cgi? Teachers would take notice of the visual effort displayed...
