Hi
My friend next year wants to start chinese at un.
Would this be to difficult for him?
how advanced is uni languages ?also how fast do they go?

also how many people here do a language?

All languages at Monash are offered starting at level one, which assumes no prior knowledge.
The pace at university is much faster than high school.

This is probably true of most languages at most uni's. They'd assume know prior knowledge (but if you did have it you'd be able to skip ahead).

If it at UoM, then he will have to sit a test and an oral exam if I am not mistaken.
