Do pracs occur every alternate week?
2011: Biol - 42
2012: Spesh |Methods |Chemistry |English Language| Physics
2014: Physiotherapy

Sometimes.  For Biol yeah (at least for me before they started changing the course around) but for Chem you have like six pracs and they might be like four in a row and then a three week break or something...you just have 6/12 weeks with a practical, not necessarily every second week though!  You find out via the prac book it has a schedule in it.

Yes it does depend on the course as said earlier for bio and chem. While bio pracs do occur alternately, you aren't exactly free (least for BIOL10004) on those weeks without pracs - there's workshops. Best thing to do would be to check the LMS or email the subject coordinators.
