Experiment while you can, I guess?
I'm taking completely different study approaches for most of my subjects.
For Biomolecules, I haven't been doing pre-reading as I've heard that it's pretty useless if you've already done 3/4 Biology, but I've been writing summary notes post-lecture and supplementing them with extra details that I find from the textbook and reliable sites on Google. The reason why I like doing this is because Biology is a subject which requires lots of attention to detail and some rote-learning. Not sure how long I can keep writing notes though - they suck out quite a bit of time. THe tutorial worksheets and questions should help as well, which I'll do regularly.
For Chemistry, I'm not going to bother writing summary notes, because it's more emphasised on conceptual understanding. I'm just going to focus on understanding (Khan Academy is also helping, as well as re-watching lectures) and answering questions. I just did the ChemCAL module for Stereoisomers, which gave my brain a real good workout, and it was pretty good because it just covered everything the lectures have covered so far. There should be heaps of tutorial questions as well, so it should be good enough.
Although, I really don't know how to self-study for Mathematics for Biomed. There are no resources apart from the lecture notes (which are already confusing enough to interpret) and the worksheets on the LMS. Think I might rely on asking the tutes and lecturer a lot outside of class...
