I have always wondered if it would be better to utilise the already fleshed out ideas in study guides such as Sparknotes/ Neap/TSSM etc. or write based on my own interpretation of the film.  What would you guys recommend?
Thanks.

... to utilise the already fleshed out ideas in study guides such as Sparknotes/ Neap/TSSM etc.

If you were a VCAA english examiner, would you like to read the same fleshed out ideas over and over?

Study guides should only be used to provide a brief background of the core themes.
