If I knock back my acceptance to Berkeley next semester, I'll graduate next June and go to Harvard/Stanford/Other Ivy for Summer school and travel Europe for a couple of months. So you can definitely do it, you just have to course plan for a couple of hours to make sure it all works and that you can handle the increased course loads in some semesters / summer.

Not sure about Australian unis but my sister is finishing grr B.Sc in 2.5 cause she overloaded first year like heaps and took second year units during first year.
I gonna try beat that :p
