Well, I got mine today and the result was not good. However, I accepted it and moved on. I thought that I needed to learn from my mistakes so I can improve in the next SACs (and ultimately exam is the most important). The main thing that made me lose marks was not answering the question properly- like what you said about answering too briefly.
This means we have to keep on practicing answering questions and making sure you have all the key words and info needed. Diagrams have to be very clear and also explain everything, key terms, because you shouldn't assume that the person reading your paper understands all the biological terminology used. Being specific means going straight to the point and not giving irrelevant information. (On a side note, graphs have to drawn clearly with the axis titles and arrows at the ends and units and graph title. Line must be drawn straight and when the question says according to your graph, what is the ....., make sure your answer is from your own graph and not what you think it should be.)
Hope this has helped and wish you all the best!
