Hi! Just wanted to ask whether Psychology Units 3&4 is more interesting than 1&2.

Right now I am doing unit 1 but I find it to be quite dry and not as interesting as I hoped it would be since there is a lot of theory and terms.

Is Unit 2 more interesting than unit 1?

I nearly failed unit 2. Unit 1 and 2 is very dry, and I lost motivation as it didn't count towards my atar.
All you need from units 1 and 2 is research methods. Make sure you learn these.
Unit 3 and 4 is very interesting, and this has helped me achieve a A+ and A sac marks

didnt do units 1 or 2 and am doing 3/4 now and doing fine (all a+'s so far)
i looked at the 1/2 stuff and it looked so boring, tbh id rather do a completely different 1/2 thats fun like food or pe or something for year 11 then just pick up psych 3/4 next year

I cannot recommend this enough-if you are unsure as to whether or not you will enjoy a subject in year 12, look up (on the VCAA website) past exams for the subject.

In essence the exam is a representation of the entire years worth of the subject!

Everyone is different in what they consider interesting or worthwhile so look it up and see if it takes your fancy! Best of luck!

Yes I looked at the past exams and they do look more interesting for me than what I 'm studying now.

That's a good indicator you will enjoy Units 3 and 4 more than Units 1 and 2!

I personally find 3/4 so much more interesting than 1/2. There's more work, but it's better content.

I didn't do units 1/2. It's not really necessary at all. Just learn the Research Methods really well! :)
Psych is really interesting, in that it applies to your day to day life!
