Intro Microeconomics Time Error?

I'm not 100% sure so correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the paper stated that we had 2 hours of writing and 15 minutes of reading time. So how come we were only given 1hr 45 mins to write? We started reading at 2.15 and stopped writing at 4.15 when we should've finished at 4.30?

I couldn't finish in time and left out 10-15 marks worth of questions and I know I would've finished if I had that extra 15 mins.

It was only 2 hours writing. Writing time started at 2:15. So +2 hours is 4:15.

In other news, that was impossible to finish on time. I'm feeling pretty deflated after doing relatively well in micro throughout the semester

Seriously, if they just extended the time a little bit for Micro it would allow a lot of students to display their full capability...

15 minutes reading time starts at 2pm they just don't tell you that. In fact for my exam the other day they let us in at like 1:57pm and reading time started straight away. Writing time starts at 2:15pm and finishes 4:15pm

Oh okay, I think I must've been confused then. I assumed we started reading at 2.15. Either way, did most people struggle to finish? I left 10 marks blank and had to jot down dot points for another 10 mark question...

I drew squiggly lines that I tried to pass off for graphs in the last question with 3 minutes 2 go.

I didn't think the exam was hard per se, just a lot to get through. I spent too long trying to draw neat and perfect diagrams haha

I finished with about 15 minutes left, thought it was really long in comparison to the 2012 one

I agree, I thought it was very long and I rushed the whole way through. To be honest it felt like the yr12 VCE english exam with all the damn writing... Didn't have time to check over, and knowing me I made lots of dumb numerical mistakes. Oh well, it's done now!

Woohoo no more micro  8)
