Exams boosting sac scores is something which people keep stating and I don't quite get what they mean by it. I was also wondering if you got a really high exam score and you were in the middle in terms of your rank could you still get at least an above 35+ study score.

If you got a really high exam score as in only 2 or so marks of 100%, you'll be looking at >40 easily, as long as you got a semi decent SAC score (i.e. >C+). Unless your subject has the exam worth like only 30% of the SS; in that case the SS relies more so on SAC results etc...

If you get a high exam score you will definitely get a high study score, regardless of your sacs.

AFAIK Your exam score will have no effect on your SAC scores although your cohort's will...UNLESS your rank is the same as the rank of your exam score against your cohort (classmates).
There are many threads that have been written that explain this stuff well so you might want look them up. :)

If your cohort does badly on SACs because they are hard and then does well on the exams, your whole cohort will receive a SACs score boost to even out different schools. If you're ranked first, you'll get the highest "scaled" SAC score for Unit 3/4.

Your own exam marks is the other half of your SS and the cohort doesn't affect this.
