Biology/Psychology or Accounting?

Hello.

I'm currently in Year 9 this year and my school is offering me the choices of selecting one of these units to do in year 10. I'm thinking of doing 3/4 Biology in Year 11 and I'm just wondering if anyone who has done it thinks it was a good choice or not to do. I'm not planning to do any languages as a VCE subject in year 11 or 12, that is why I'm thinking of doing one subject earlier and use Biology as a stepping stone for 3/4. Do I need to learn unit 2 in order to comprehensively understand Biology Unit 3/4? If anyone can give me advice it would be great, thanks.  :)

These are the units offered to me in Year 10 ( Can't do any other VCE Subjects)
- VCE Biology Unit 1
- VCE Physcology Unit 2
- VCE Accounting Unit 1

You'll be happy to know that Unit 2 Biology is highly unrelated to the 3/4 course. I didn't do Unit 2, though I did do Unit 1 :)

Hey just wondering, out of psych or bio, which did u prefer?

Which one required more work, more enjoyable, easier to score higher in?

I am in doing psych ATM, might drop it for bio next year...

I quite liked Psychology when I did it, but I found Biology more interesting at the end. By the time I was half way through psych, I had already changed my mind about where I wanted to go, so its appeal waned a bit.
Psychology is more competitive than Biology, though only slightly. Biology is more conceptually difficult. Both, honestly, require about an equal amount of work. I think psychology can be a little more tedious though. That said, if you don't like Biology, you'll find it an absolute bore as well.
