adaptations

Yes they are in the study design. It links up with homeostasis.
(Also for panting, apply it to osmoregulation, page 192; Thermoregulation, 191.)

What do you mean by "new" study design anyway? It's not that new, you don't have to worry about the course having a lack of/added materials since it has been around for a while. The current one has an accreditation period from 2006 - 2011.

Page 282 Q6, ABO stuff? Or are you talking about the rhesus positive/negative thing? (page 271)

Actually behavioural adaptations is something that used to be in the course, but isn't anymore. There actually is a new course, but which as Toothy said, isn't really that new. A lot of the old exams (i.e. pre-'05) will have stuff which you're not meant to know outright, such as thermoregulation and osmoregulation, but having a good knowledge of these helps anyway as these are often the examples given in the stimulus material for questions on homeostasis. However, the point is you don't have to necessarily memorise anything regarding these. As for blood groups, I'm pretty sure that is actually expected knowledge as it ties in with the immunity chapters too, but I can't know for sure.

Mind posting the question? Now that I think about it, I think blood groups was more in unit 4 regarding genetics, but I'm not too sure.

I know this is an old thread, but anyone wanting info on ABO blood typing should do this revision activity: https://aelp.smartsparrow.com/learn/open/6b25fad20ea44b0793fa41e717b5b534

Contributions are welcome but please don't revive old threads.
