Will 2 weeks of hardcore study, 6-8 hours a day be enough?

That really depends on what you want.

Put it this way: the sooner you start, the better. Try not to leave it until the last two weeks. Studying 6-8 hours per day every day for the two weeks directly before the exam ins't ideal, in my opinion.

It's also good to keep in mind that once you start school you're going to be coming home tired. Studying 6-8hrs after school is really going to take a lot of effort and dedication. It's best to start early, understand what you need to work on and what needs to be revised. That way come exam time, you've already been revising for a month and are just doing more practice questions to prepare yourself for most scenarios.

6-8 HOURS A DAY!?!? Jesus Christ man, that's gonna burn you out so fast, start early but start little, so you won't have to cram near the end and you'll be less stressed.

Are you in year 12?

If so, START NOW. NOW. NOT LATER. NOT TOMORROW. TODAY!

It's better to do a little bit everyday, for a long period of time. Than A LOT everyday for a short period of time.

You are going to be exhausted, not have enough sleep and not learn effectively. (And It will be really stressful)

Also, don't count study time in hours. Cause (well for me), it never goes to plan. Even for practise exams. Even though there's a set time complete it, sometimes I finish really early, or sometimes I am stuck on one particular question that takes ages for me to wrap my head around and solve (even after the times done)

Just set yourself realistic goals for you, and try ensure you complete them. Don't make timetables too rigid, (everyday from 3-5pm etc... ) cause plans don't always go accordingly. And the trick is being able to be flexible, compromise.

However that now exams are just around the corner, you definitely need to get into revision mode ASAP. It's not too late to get the scores you want. There's still time. But depending on what you do between now and the exams, your scores and ultimately ATAR could be very very different.

Start now. Depending on the subjects you are doing, I would revise and then do exam questions to test what you've just gone over. ( it helps to put what you're doing into perspective)

Note: GONE OVER!!! => not learnt.
If you don't know the answer to a question, chances are it has something to do with changing the surface area to volume ratio or resonance.

Right now you should be doing exam-style questions for each topic. Don't fall into the trap of thinking more hours = more effective study.

It's what you do in those hours that counts (filling in the gaps in your knowledge, practising your responses, making a logbook of all your mistakes, teaching other people...etc)

After reading that, I've been realising that I've been getting 'blurg' around doing 1-2 hours of work, and  then, with other topics within the subject I want to complete, I tend to procrastinate, which makes me take at least  5-6 hours to actually finish it (eg: 1 topic in first 1-2 hours, then 4-5 for the next 2). Would applying short bursts of learning (1-2 hours) on a subject be more efficient even when it applies to written subjects such as Revolutions?
I actually have no idea what I'm saying or talking about.

I definitely prefer goals to a timetable. Saying "I'm going to do this from 3-5, then this from 6-9" is more difficult to maintain and isn't as rewarding (for me at least). Saying "I'm going to do at least 15 chem questions and summarise my notes" sets you a realistic short term goal that helps you feel like you've accomplished something.
