I'm in a similar boat to you. Hopefully we'll both be fine~ Any answers to this question would be helpful :)

Yes MAV are good to do.

They are similar to VCAA standard (on the harder side though.)
Make sure you get through all of VCAA from 2006 onwards.

If you have time Heffernan are similar to VCAA as well. (Heffernan are slightly easier)

Remember don't stress. It's not about how many practise exams you do. It's what you learn from it. Since exams are next week, start doing them timed. If you can bothered, add 15mins of reading time. It's good for Exam 2s because you can learn to do multiple choices in your head and stuff, and you will get a more accurate indication (in terms of timing) in the actual exam.

When doing VCAA read through the examiner reports carefully.

Hi,
Given your situation I would do the most recent exams set by VCAA (2012,2011 downwards etc). I found 2006 to be the easiest. I highly recommend reading the examiners report, especially in areas where you have weaknesses in as well as the common errors students make.
And if you any problems with any of the questions you can do the following:
-Read the examiners report :D
-Go to the itute website; they have worked solutions for the exams
-Pop the questions here and hopefully someone can help you out
-PM me the question(s) and I'll send you the worked solution and explanation if needed

I hope that helps, and Good luck!!

Heffernan is usually easy. But the 2013 MAV paper is ridiculously hard! Our school used it for our trial and literally everyone failed. =/
