For some reason i find exam 2 for the VCAA quite do-able. However there are companies such as MAV are much harder. Im starting to stress.Ive completed the VCAA exams. What companies should i do that are generally easier so i can build up and start to do MAV?
and for the experienced people, If i ace exam 1 (about 35/40) does that guarantee me a place in the 30s raw?

Check out the statistics on the VCAA website here:
http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Documents/statistics/2012/section3/vce_mathematical_methods_cas_ga12.pdf

You can find more by doing a Google search under 'VCAA statistics methods'.
A 35/40 in exam 1 was equivalent to an A in 2012 VCAA exam.
Getting As in your assessments would mean you're in the mid-high 30s. Yes, raw!
2014: Microbiology/Immunology Major.

Thanks to (alphabetical order):
2010: appianway. 2011: Kamil9876, laseredd, xZero. 2012: dc302, harper, marr.
Multiple times: pi, Russ, stonecold, TT.

Hi,
Firstly don't stress out, I found company exams to be sometimes a bit more challenging than the exams set by VCAA. I think they are designed that way to promote a higher level of thinking, by applying the fundamental concepts to situations where the working out is not that straight forward and as repetitive as some exams.

I would go back to your VCAA exams that you have done, and  try to understand the questions you found challenging. Because maybe you over looked  areas of weaknesses before diving into the more challenging exams. That is just my opinion.

Good luck :D
