How I've been accessing VCAA's website

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/

It's a cache of their website, meaning that this is their site from yesterday.
Google has just saved all of their pages for future use, but we have access to it as well. (Google is unbelievably brilliant, they have a lot more power than we are aware of lol.)

Have fun and good luck studying.

BasicAcid, that's a good idea but the problem is that as soon as you click on a link, it redirects you to the UNcached site... so we get the "error" message too.

the only easy way to get around it is to go to the cached copy of each page, which is kinda easy. let me play around with my paint for a bit :P

If there's something that you really wanted and someone hasn't posted yet:

(sorry if I'm a bit late to the party, vcaa website was working fine for me before so I didn't click on this thread :P)

PS: @b^3 merge this with the existing thread?

Yeah we worked that out in the thread earlier today.
Re: Did the VCAA website just crash?
Works for most people who it wasn't working for before, but apparently not working for some, so give it a shot anyways:
To be able to save and download the exams so that they come out working right, add in ".nyud.net:8080" after the .au part of the address for the normal vcaa page
I.e. for the exams page use this http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au.nyud.net:8080/Pages/vce/exams/examsassessreports.aspx

Old method that doesn't work as well below: Just use the stuff above.
Okay guys, Google's Cache to the rescue! :D

This should work, but is effectively what was up a few days ago.
e.g. The front page http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Pages/index.aspx
And the Exam page http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Pages/vce/exams/examsassessreports.aspx

But every time you need to click a link you will have to put it through here: http://www.cachedpages.com/
The google cache should do the trick.
e.g. Last years methods Exam 1 http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Documents/exams/mathematics/2012/2012mmcas1-w.pdf
The exams don't show up well, e.g. equations and such are bad, but working on that now.

Hope that helps.
If you try the .nyud.net:8080 thing then clicking links works with the cache.

Just getting the files from Stevensmay's links is probably easier though.

Not that easy to use but I'm sure you can work it out.
