Another idea could be to form a study group with some mates and go through the different areas of study (discuss areas you're having trouble with and such). Being able to explain a case or whatever back to another person is a good form of revision that is often overlooked in my opinion. Bounce ideas off each other about how you would tackle question A, B, C etc.. Good luck!

I am attending CPAP legal lectures these holidays. Also, I am compiling a question and answer bank. (ie. practice questions from exams and model answers wtih mark allocations etc.).
Also I am doing as much practice exams as I can get my hands onto - knowing how to answer a question is probably the most important in the subject.
Additionally review all your SACs from the year; look at your teacher's comments and how to improve. If your teachers are available, you can send them some practice essays to mark as well!

Crap they advertise megan blake really well, makes me want to sign up to their lecture as she is a vcaa assessor and created the latest study design, however i decided to go with connect education for all my subjects as they are previous students who got 50's in the subjects they lecture in. however thanks for your suggestions guys i will try my best..

Okay, but this was a while ago... and, just a note, "created" isn't correct!

All I've done is review all chapters and written notes on them.
Then I've done a few practice questions and exams. There's not much else you can really do I guess!

The biggest issue I'm having is trying to write concise study notes for my exam. A collection of everything I have learned throughout the year is 40+ pages long and some of the notes on this site are even longer! I have no idea how I'll be able to remember everything despite getting very high marks on all my SACs this year.
I've also been doing many practise exams as well. The short answer questions are easy but the extended response questions near the end of the papers really have me stumped on where to begin! There's just over a month until the exam though so there's still plenty of time to work on my weaker areas and where I can improve.

I spent some time the other day going through and organising my notes from the whole year and there is just sooooo much which makes it seem so overwhelming! I know that I had a lot of extra little bits of info in my notes though because I wanted to make sure I covered everything so I wouldn't risk losing marks in my sacs.. No way am I going through and cutting out stuff though, because that's just a waste of time for me! So I'm just going to study over everything I know is definitely examinable and that has been examined in the past, and then I'll just wait for the Connect Education Legal lecture, because they'll provide notes so that will make things a bit easier for me :)

Are you guys just going to do as many timed practice exams as possible? I feel like doing so many 2-hour exams is going to waste a lot of time that could be used more effectively  :-\. I was planning to leave the VCAA exams (Sample, 2011, 2012) and maybe a few 2012/13 company exams to do under timed conditions and I'll just go through the others by planning/referring to the assessor reports/solutions. Because there's so many small-mark questions that I think you don't need to repeatedly waste time answering. Instead, that time (imo) could be put to better use for answering the more big-mark questions (4-6+, especially 10-mark extended response questions) and trying to do those as quickly as possible! That's just what I personally think though...

How are you guys going to go about it?

I agree with this. Having detail and clarity with your answers to the big mark questions does make a difference. Time management is pretty crucial. Having a basic structure with regards to the big mark questions was something I found helped me. Just my 2cents.

I went to the one at Victoria University - not the 'intense' one, but the one where you had the students write up the questions after every unit then you answered them at the end.
