There is a lot of content, I agree with that!

I've finally got up to memorising the last lecture just now.

Oh wow! I just started the immunity lectures :(

That exam wasn't easy. About 3 of the multiple choice had me clueless.
But the rest of the MC was fine.

Do you guys think 3 pages for the essay is enough?

What did you all think of the exam?

Ps. What was the answer to the question where we had to name the processes involving leukocyte recruitment, tissue destruction and angiogenesis?!
That was one strange question...I put the inflammatory response and repair because that's all I could think of! I couldn't figure out the 3rd answer!

PPS. I sat next to someone with TERRIBLE STRONG perfume and I felt like a needed a fumigation mask on the entire time. She smelt like a dead fish, it was that bad!

Omg Turtle!! HYPOXIA!!! Were you as happy as I was??  ;D

But I agree about three or four multiple choice was like "whoa!! I thought that was right and that was right and that one and that one look right, so which one???!!! :-\" and was a bit confused. But I think I may have gotten maybe 10-12 wrong because I just couldn't remember the environment and cancer lectures even though I studied them in the weekend and looked through the lecture on tuesday :(

And I put healing because I couldn't remember the word repair but it was inflammation, repair and injury I think!

I came out of that a little TOO complacent, now worried how I did :S Stumbled on only ~6 MCQs and 1 3 mark question in section B. My essay was 4 pages so 3 should be fine.

Yes, but the problem was, I wasn't going to be able to write enough on it in my opinion.
I was so annoyed that there was not a question like "describe the process of inflammation".
I had an 800 word essay memorised ready to go lol!
So I wrote on the hypersensitivity question haha!!
Do you think 3 pages is enough?
I think I covered absolutely everything in the lectures looking back at it now, so I hope its enough!

3 pages should be more than enough. Even if it's not you'll probs get a H1 anyway  :P
I got like 1 3/4 pages but my hand writing is terribly minuscule. I was torn between hypersensitivity and hypoxia but went with hypoxia so I would have enough time go back to the damned multiple choice questions I was struggling with.

I honestly didn't expect to find writing a sciencey-essay this hard. It wasn't the content but the structure that took some time to work out. So I even did a little essay plan just so I can keep track of what I was writing lol. I just read off the lectures when I'm studying so maybe that's why. Knowing that there was going to be an essay question I should have written up summary notes. Ah well!

Multiple choice got me a bunch of times, would've dropped 5-10 on that I reckon.

That short answer question with the mononuclear cell infiltration, tissue injury and angiogenesis was worded pretty badly I thought, I didn't really know what they wanted. I ended up writing monocyte/macrophage extravasation, Delayed Th-cell mediated hypersensitivity/bystander cell injury and repair/scar formation.

I might get a mark for the angiogenesis part if they choose to ignore the scar formation answer.

Other than that I was stoked with rest of the short answer questions and the essay topics - pretty bummed out that they hardly had anything on thrombosis, embolism clotting since I spent so much time on that :/

All in all pretty happy :)

Uh, you also needed to write on inflammation for the healing one if you didn't noticed. So I dunno whether you looked over over that or didn't read much about healing.

I did Hypoxia though. Glad I read up on it a bit but didn't read too much on the details of it.

Yeah, I did see that.
But the problem was, you had to also write on healing, and I don't like that area very much!
I didn't know it as well as hypersensitivities
